‘ANC Belong to the People of South Africa’
The ANC prepares for 114 January 08 statement in North-West; By Teboho Khoarane

As we are gearing up for the ANC 114 January 08 statement in North-West, the Provincial Secretary in Free State Polediso Motsoeneng once said the ANC belong to the people of South Africa. They are looking up to the organization with all its deployed Government and Municipal officials to solve the problems in the entire Province faced by different communities on a daily basis. People do not want to hear squabbles of its leaders, and positions. They want to hear the implementation on how their ANC Government particularly in the Free State on how they will deal with issues relating to governance and service delivery.
“The public and the media have portrayed the ANC as the party that harbours illiterates, and that gives the public a negative image and perception about the leadership we entrust to take the party and government forward in terms of service delivery, incoming leadership from wards especially ward councillors need to be independent thinkers that can take decisions guided by the ANC constitution to address challenges communities face on the ground on a daily basis”.
“We know that from the inception of the of ANC in 1912, the party is known to have produced intelligent and educated members, that still need to continue to pave a positive way and help the embattled membership embroiled in factions. Some of these factions have contributed significantly to overlooking the quality of leadership, even during the selection of leaders that are going to be suggested for the Local Government Elections in 2026”, said Motsoeneng.
As part of solidarity, the Provincial Secretary this past festive season of 2025 said it is through the collective efforts of leadership, that compassion and love for our communities remains a daily habit, as he donated food packages from his personal capacity first as a citizen of Free State and a leader of Society.
