
The Executive Mayor of Mangaung Cllr. Gregory Nthatisi led a delegation to the Consulate General of China in Johannesburg. The visit is part of a robust drive to promote Mangaung as an investment destination, the inaugural Mangaung investment summit promised to open up Mangaung as an ideal location to do business.
The delegation included Mangaung Metro’s City Manager Sello More supported by his HOD Nokuthula Chakane who led the presentation on what our metro could offer as economic opportunities for investors, which also included our rich political heritage to share people to people experiences.
China is South Africa largest trading partner; this represents an opportunity for the people of Mangaung to benefit from this partnership. “At the heart of it all are the infinite economic possibilities our great Metro can unlock, working together with the people of Mangaung aa public office bearers, our urgent task is to unlock the potential our Mangaung can offer to the world”, said Nthatisi.
“The South African-China Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce since 2017, brings together leading private and public sector entities from Shenzhen, all committed to fostering global partnerships and cultural exchange. These stakeholders convene globally each year to promote foreign direct investment and to build bridges with international markets”, added Nthatisi.
