On Wednesday, 18 June 2025, hosted the Walk Your Journey Series in Polokwane, a youth networking event and platform aimed at inspirational conversations, enable access to opportunities, enhance collaborations, and highlight the importance of local entrepreneurship. The event formed part of a national dialogue aimed at equipping young South Africans with the tools and insights needed to navigate the evolving retail and business landscape.
A moment of business exchange unfolded at Mall of the North which all Panelists Theo Baloyi (Founder & Group CEO, Bathu), DJ Zinhle Ntombezinhle Jiyane (Founder & CEO, Era by DJ Zinhle), and Thatiso Dube (Founder & Head Designer, GALXBOY), visited each other’s stores. More than a symbolic gesture, the exchange served as an positive active demonstration of business support and a commitment to the sustainability of local businesses.
Each entrepreneur made a purchase at the other’s store, reinforcing a shared belief in the importance of investing and supporting South African-owned brands and fostering collaboration.
