Mangaung Metro Council Whip on the 18th of July 2024, visited St. Augustine primary school in Thaba Nhu for the celebration of Mandela Day. The day was honoured with the donation of 43 School shoes for the needy young learners by the MMM Council Whip Cllr Vumile Nikelo.
The purpose of the event was fundamentally serving as the launch of the School adoption by Council Whip, and the partnership is intended to ensure that the school sports is revived and the food gardening programme is made effective in schools by ensuring that the children and those around are benefiting from the use of land offered by the specific school.
