Tebello Khabo and Thabo Aubrey Mokhafola, known as Rasta, are set to make waves in the local music scene with their remarkable new EP, Phutha. The project is already gaining traction, showcasing the duo’s undeniable chemistry and talent.
Phutha features hit tracks like “Amathanga” and “Abathakathi,” making it an essential addition to any music lover’s collection. Tebello delivers powerful vocals and remarkable songwriting that tells a compelling story, while Rasta’s impressive guitar skills add an irresistible flavour to the EP.
The duo first crossed paths at Reamohetse High School in Botshabelo, where Rasta played with the Botshabelo Backstage Band. Inspired by the high rates of GBV and her love for music, the pair’s collaboration is heartfelt and timely. Among the EP’s tracks, “Amathanga” holds a special place for Tebello. She appreciates Rasta’s versatility, noting, “What I love more about working with Rasta is that he can play both Lead and Base Guitar and he also helps me arrange my music.”
Their EP is now available on all digital streaming platforms, inviting fans to experience their incredible talent. Be sure to stream Phutha and enjoy the magic of Tebello and Rasta!
